The water behind the Blue Standard

Every drain leads to Georgian Bay.

Whether your home is on a septic system or town sewer, what goes down the sink ends up in the same watershed we all live on.

Your sink & floors

Mop and rinse water go down the drain

Septic or sewer

A septic tank and leach bed, or a town plant

Soil & groundwater

The same water many local wells draw from

Georgian Bay

Our shoreline, beaches and drinking water

Why it matters here

  • Septic systems rely on healthy bacteria to break down waste
  • Private wells draw on the same groundwater
  • Waterfront homes sit right at the water's edge

Questions

Good to know.

Do I need to be home during visits?

No. Many of our clients are away for weeks at a time. Access codes are stored only in our encrypted scheduling system, never on paper, and physical keys are tagged by client number only and kept locked at our Blue Hub between visits.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes. Commercial general liability insurance and bonding are in place before our first visit, and we'll provide proof on request.

What products do you use?

Independently certified products: every product carries UL ECOLOGO certification, which you can check in UL's public SPOT database. We use measured dilutions, and fragrance-free is always available.

Who will be cleaning my home?

A two-person team of Shoreline Blue employees, never subcontractors. Every team member completes ISSA's Professional House Cleaning certification and passes a criminal record check, renewed every three years.

How is pricing worked out?

Recurring care is priced per two-person team-hour, based on your home's size and condition, with a minimum visit of 1.5 team-hours. Travel between homes is never billed. Specialty cleans are flat fees by home size. Ask us for a quote.

Is there a contract?

Founding clients start with a non-binding letter of intent: no deposit, no obligation. Before your first visit you'll sign a Service Agreement, which includes a 6-month minimum for recurring service.

What's in the visit report?

Your team's GPS-verified arrival and departure, the completed checklist, before/after photos of cleaned areas (never people or personal items), and notes on anything we spotted, like a slow drip or worn caulking.
